By car

From Highway A/3 Napoli – Salerno go towards Naples until the Castellammare di Stabia exit.

Take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and continue on SS 145 for about 23 Km, continue through various different towns before arriving in Sorrento (Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant’Agnello).

Sorrento is approximately 48 kilometers from Naples and is about a 1 hour drive without traffic.

Once you arrive at Capo di Sorrento turn onto the Nastro Verde to get to Sant’Agata sui due Golfi.

Then follow the signs for Deserto where our staff will be waiting to welcome you warmly at the time previously scheduled over the phone.

By Bus

From the Tiburtina Station in Rome, Marozzi buses leave daily for the Sorrentine Peninsula.

The SITA line departs daily for Amalfi, S. Agata sui due Golfi and Massa Lubrense (making all the stops in the different towns on the way) with departures every half hour or so from the Sorrento Train Station.

There is also a daily bus that departs from Assisi for Sorrento.

By Plane

From the “ARRIVALS” terminal at the Naples Capodichino airport, Curreri buses are available daily to take you to the Sorrentine Peninsula.

The ticket costs about 7 Euro and the drive is a little less than an hour.

From the airport you can also take advantage of the taxi services or numerous other sorrentine transportation companies with rates ranging from between 70 and 100 Euros.

Buses, taxis and shuttles can take you from the airport to the Circumvesuviana station in Naples.

By train

From the Napoli Centrale Piazza Garibaldi of the Ferrovie dello Stato, where trains arrive from the main Italian cities, the Circumvesuviana local trains depart providing daily service about every 30 minutes to Sorrento. The trip takes a little over an hour and no reservations are necessary.

The ticket costs about 2.60 Euros and can be purchased at the ticket counter and at any of the newstands in the station.

By Boat

From the Beverello dock of Naples at the Piazza Municipio ferries and hydrofoils can be taken to Sorrento.

The trip lasts about 45 minutes, and is quite comfortable, but it costs almost twice as much as going by train. They dock at the port of Sorrento, which is about 500 meters from the center.

Shuttles are available from the main piazza. It is also easy to reach the islands of Capri and Ischia from Sorrento, thanks to the streamlined maritime transportation network that has frequent departures by hydrofoil and ferries.
