Hi Stephania, Alberto & Davide:

Thank you for your note. We just returned home to the USA the other day and are getting adjusted to the time change but are refreshed and happy after our joyous time in Italy. We spent more time in Northern Italy before returning home to the US and are recounting the many fun moments in Sorrento at your lovely home. Thank you so very much for helping to make our stay fabulous. We truly had a wonderful time. The house was well equipped, clean and wonderful. The views were spectacular and we so enjoyed eating all of our meals outside overlooking the sea. The boat ride that you all coordinated was Fantastic! We had a terrific time. AND, the dinners that you made for us were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTiC!!! Thank you, thank you for a really great vacation. We loved every minute of it and we thank you for helping to make our trip to Italy so happily memorable.

Extremely nice location, super villa, lovely rooms, excellent views (the Vesuv, Sorrent, city Sorrent’ Peninsula, the sea, the islands Capri & Ischia), super breakfast (including eggs, croissants, juice ect.), friendly owner and stuff. Just get yourself a precise description in advance how to get there by car. There are different ways, but only one convenient road that leads you there.

The place is excellent. If you have a car, it takes you 2 minutes to the city of Sant’Agata where you have everything you need: restaurants, gas station, supermarket, etc. The view from the villa is one of the most beautiful I ever saw. The staff is excellent: they expalined to us how to get, where to get, etc and even provided us with free wi-fi internet. I would reccomment this place to families and friends (not singles looking for fun). As told before – we would certainly come again

We stayed at Villa cartolina for a family reunion (ages of partecipants ranging from 10 to 79). The villa is beautiful, with lovely rooms, a well landscaped garden, a pool and terraces with an amazing view. The view is really breathtaking: just sitting outside having breakfast or enjoying dinner is worth the trip. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful, always ready to accomodate your requests and needs. Yor reach the villa by driving on a very narrow street ( better get used to this if you want to drive on the Amalfi coast) and then by walking on a small path. Being this secluded results in the villa beeing totally private and absolutely quiet.
St. Agata is about 15 minutes walking distance, a nice walk, the younger part of our group did it several times, but in general having a car is a good idea. We visited Pompei using public transportation ( bus from St. Agata to Sorrento, then train to Pompei) and had absolutely no problems or delays.
A trip to Capri with a private motor boat was arranged through the staff : we had an incredible time.
We had a wonderful staying at Villa cartolina and we highly reccomend it.

Just a short email to thank you and all your staff for the kindness welcome and help during out stay at your Villa last and this week.

Please pass our special regards to Ana Maria for her son’s wedding this weekend and for her excellent breakfasts.

Also please thank Davide for his excellent hints and info about what, when and how to visit during our stay.

Hello Stefania,

I apologize for not thanking you sooner, but as we arrived home our tourist season began and our B&B has been extremely busy. Anyway, I wanted to thank you very very much for such wonderful hospitality. The girls, Anna Maria, Dorina, etc. are just delightful people and you are a wonderful hostess. Arthur’s birthday dinner turned out just the way it would have been if we had it at home. The house was so comfortable, I could have stayed and not come home…. When we left you, we went to Capri to stay at the Ceasar Agusta Hotel in Ana Capri. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the water and we also had a fabulous dinner at the Palace Hotel. As grand and chic as they both are, I would still prefer to stay at La Cartolina.

We will always recommend you to our friends and hotel guests that when traveling to Campagnia. And let us know if you open any more houses…

How are you?
I appologize that i could not call you when i checkout the villa. I have exhausted my cell phone minutes and there was no way i could call you. we had a very pleasant stay and would definetly come back again. Every thing was top class. Our special thanks to Alberto and his friend Michel. Over all every thing was just great and we have a near perfect vacation.

I hope we have left the villa in a clean state.

Short vacation,intention to enjoy beautiful nature at sorrento peninsula and to visit some historical places arround Naples. Breakfast is very good,containing different things,fresh fruits,muesli,coffee and milk,various chees and salami sorts.eggs in several ways are also offered.

It´s a really beautiful place to stay. We have to thanks to Stefania for the warm wellcoming. Try to get there with a little car, because the roads are very narrow. Let them recomend you what to do during your stay. We will go back again. Visit the nearest village like ravello, marina de cantore or Capri.

Had a wonderful stay at La Cartolina Residence. Great place if you like spotless rooms, beautiful views and tranquility. Our hostess was gracious and our breakfast lady, Annamaria, always greeted us with a smile. If you enjoy good hard hiking, try the climb up from Sorrento. Very challenging. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn”t mind a fifteen-minute walk into the lovely little village of Sant”Agata and who enjoys peace, quiet and fresh air. (The bus service to Amalfi and Sorrento is excellent by the way) Thanks Stefania, Annamaria and Evelyn!
